Scope and Sequence
Jubilee English 11-12: AP English Language
The objective of this AP English Language course is to prepare homeschool students to successfully negotiate the AP English Language test. In order to pass the test, candidates must demonstrate a thorough mastery of the writing process and the rules that govern the process. Homeschool students who participate in this class will learn the different types of writing composition. In addition, they will study the proper ways to set up and research topics. Through this course, reasoning skills will be sharpened. Homeschool students will also learn to evaluate their papers and then edit them if necessary. A practice examination is included in the course, and can be administered by the homeschool teacher if the teacher and student decide that it would be beneficial.
